Melissa Etheridge attended the 2023 Tony Awards the same day she shared some very exciting Broadway news of her own.
The 62-year-old “I’m the Only One” hitmaker was joined at the event by her wife Linda Wallem. They posed for photos outside the United Palace Theatre in New York City’s Washington Heights on Sunday evening (June 11).

The show opens on September 28 and will be hosted at the Circle in the Square. Melissa previously shared the show, which documents her life, off-Broadway. “I truly love Broadway, and it’s long been a dream of mine to tell my story and share my music there,” she gushed in a statement shared with Deadline. “The intimacy of the live theatrical stage is like no other, and Circle in the Square is going to be a magical home for my show’s Broadway debut.
