Meghan Markle is to receive another award – this time for her “lifelong advocacy for women and girls”. The Duchess of Sussex, 41, has been named as one of this year’s Ms.
Foundation Women of Vision – a prize run by America's oldest women's foundation.The award will be presented to her by political activist and friend Gloria Steinem, who Meghan has been seen with on several occasions.
It comes just a week after the Duchess won a Gracie award for her Archetypes podcast. In a biography on the Ms. Foundation's website, Meghan was described as "a feminist, champion of human rights and gender equity, and global role model".
It added: "Her lifelong advocacy for women and girls remains a constant thread she weaves through both humanitarian and business ventures".
