Meghan Markle threw a party when she started earning a decent wage so she could give her high street clothes away - and make room for designer clobber, a source says.

According to Vanity Fair, the Duchess of Sussex held a 'Sayonara Zara' party once her breakthrough role on Suits allowed her to upgrade her wardrobe.The soiree may have marked a shift toward a more sustainable, conscious fashion style, as nothing got wasted.

After making small appearances on TV shows like General Hospital and Deal or No Deal in the early 2000s, Meghan's fame grew exponentially when she became a series regular on Suits and her success skyrocket.The Duchess now lives in the States with Prince Harry and their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
