Meghan Markle has spoken about her hopes for her daughter Lilibet’s future while also revealing the reason she left Deal or No Deal.

On the new episode of her podcast Archetypes, which hopes to explore "labels that try to hold women back", Meghan spoke with Paris Hilton about the terms “bimbo” and “dumb blonde.” While Paris admitted to leaning into the stereotypes to better her career, Meghan discussed how she thinks the word “bimbo” has negative connotations. The 41 year old Duchess of Sussex explained: "I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on this idea because when I hear the word bimbo, I have a very negative connotation to it. "I don't see that as an aspirational thing for a woman, I want our daughters to aspire to be slightly higher. "I want my Lili to want to be educated and want to be smart and to pride herself on those things.” Meghan shares children Lilibet, one, and Archie, three, with husband Prince Harry.

Also on the podcast, the former Suits actress admitted to leaving the US version of Deal or no Deal because it did not make her feel “smart.” The Duchess of Sussex worked on the show as a briefcase holder from 2006 to 2007.

Meghan said: “Before the tapings of the show, all the girls, we would line up and there were different stations for having your lashes, put on, or your extensions, put in, or the padding in your bra. "We were even given spray-tan vouchers each week because there was a very cookie cutter idea of precisely what we should look like.
