Meghan Markle's Suits co star Wendell Pierce clarifies his 'insignificant' comment over CBS interview

Meghan Markle's onscreen father in Suits, Wendell Pierce, is calling out the British Press after his statements were allegedly spun by the tabloids.

Wendell, who played the role of Robert Zane, took to social media to clarify his comments which he made while speaking to LBC on 9 March.

When asked what he thought about Meghan and Prince Harry's explosive interview, he said that it was "insignificant" since we are in the midst of a pandemic surrounded by so much death.

Pierce called it "insensitive and offensive that we are all complicit in this sort of Palace gossip". However, he soon realised that his statements were being taken out of context and he took to Twitter to clear the air.
