Meghan Markle is just like the rest of us in the fact that she plans New Year's resolutions for the year ahead. But now her former resolutions, that she announced just six months before meeting Prince Harry and their whirlwind romance beginning, have resurfaced amid reports that the couple plans to make 2024 their "year of redemption".
On January 1, 2016, Meghan took to her now-defunct blog The Tig to share her resolutions. But she admitted that she's just the same as everyone else as she confessed some resolutions make it to her list every year.
She began by writing: "These make my New Year's resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year.The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple drinks." Writing on her blog at the time, Meghan continued: "And when it comes to the biting of the nails—well, it still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day.
It's unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit." The Duchess of Sussex also confessed that she didn't follow through with her other resolutions including running a marathon and relearning French.
