Meghan Markle is set to hop back onto socials and relaunch her own Instagram page, which could reportedly make her up to a whopping £1 million per post.
Meghan hasn’t had her own Instagram account since 2018, and stepped away from her joint Instagram account with Prince Harry in 2020 when they stepped back from their official royal duties.
In 2020, Meghan told People that she removed her own account for her "own self-preservation".The royal said: "I had a personal account years ago, which I closed down, and then we had one through the institution and our office that was in the UK that wasn’t managed by us — that was a whole team.” Now it appears that the mum-of-two is ready to step back into the world of social media as her team has confirmed that she will be making a return with the handle @meghan, which already boasts 76,000 followers. The account doesn’t include a picture of Meghan, but rather her favourite flowers - pink peonies. The page also doesn’t include any official posts as of yet.
A source has confirmed the Instagram account is Meghan's and that she will be making her return “very soon” and fans should keep an eye out for her first post.
