King Charles has dropped a bombshell on Meghan Markle with the news of his own upcoming Amazon documentary, which is set to outshine her postponed Netflix show. The monarch, 76, has collaborated with rival streaming platform Amazon Prime for a meaningful documentary project centred around the future of the planet which is being filmed at Dumfries House in Scotland.

According to The Times, a number of platforms were considered before Amazon was selected and the film is due out either at the end of this year or early 2026.

The news comes just weeks before the duchess' eight-part cooking and lifestyle series, 'With Love, Meghan' premieres next month after being postponed in January.A royal expert has now claimed that the King will have a bigger audience than the Sussexes' latest attempt at a Netflix series.Speaking to The Sun, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said that Charles' new documentary is likely to shatter Meghan's dreams of making a powerful comeback to the limelight. He said: "The film will have kudos and get a wider audience because of King Charles's involvement.

He has given speeches on the environment since 1970."Harmony is philosophical, about the imbalance between mankind and nature and the need to rectify this."He continued: "The film will seek to spread the word rather than seek top ratings as the topic is challenging and philosophy normally attracts few devotees."The King will reportedly be making minimal appearances personally.
