Thomas Markle Snr has revealed how he tried to make amends with estranged daughter Meghan Markle on her 40th birthday. The 77-year-old - who has never met Harry or his grandkids - claims he sent his daughter a bunch of roses as he tried to mend their broken relationship.

But as of yet he says he's had no response from the former Suits star. "I really didn't expect to hear back but I tried none the less," he said.

Thomas, who lives approximately 70 miles away from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, bared all in a telling interview with Dan Wootton on GB News on Thursday night.

He explained how his birthday bouquet of red roses included two yellow roses as a symbol of his two grandchildren Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.
