Meghan Markle joining potential ‘Suits’ reboot is ‘just not possible’

For the week of June 26 to July 2, “Suits” had 3.14 billion minutes of watch time, according to the Hollywood Reporter.Amid this surge in popularity, a revival is not out of the question – but Markle would probably not be in it, executive producer Gene Klein said. “I’d be surprised if we could thread that needle for a reunion, but I’d also be delighted if that happened because [when] you do a show for that long, everybody becomes such a good friend,” he told TV Line.
But since Markle married Prince Harry in 2018 — and became the center of a never-ending media circus about their strained relationship with the Royal Family — getting her to return to the show is something that “I would assume that’s just not possible,” Klein said. “Suits” is set at a fictional law firm in New York, following a cast of characters including Mike Ross (Patrick J.
Adams), a college dropout who never went to law school; “fixer” Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht); and managing partner Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) – who got a spinoff show in 2019 that was canceled after one season.
