During the sketch, comedian Michael Che made a swipe a Meghan in a joke concerning speculation surrounding her and Prince Harry attending King Charles' Coronation in May, writes The Mirror.Michael joked that Meghan has been offered "$19 an hour" to attend the prestigious event and as he told the joke a photoshopped image of her dressed in a maids outfit was shown behind him.
During the segment, Michael said: "It was reported that the organisers of King Charles' Coronation have officially invited Meghan Markle.
And this is nice: at a starting salary of $19-an-hour."The audience erupted into laughter but viewers at home were appalled by the cruel and "offensive" sketch, with many taking to social media to vent about it.One fumed: "Notice how Michael Che is not funny and he never has been?
