Meghan Markle celebrated her 42nd birthday surrounded by friends and family, according to reports. Over the weekend, the Duchess of Sussex is said to have enjoyed a trip to the cinema with friends including Portia De Rossi to see blockbuster-hit Barbie.The group of pals watched the feminist hit whilst Prince Harry was nowhere to be seen - but was most probably at home with their two kids, Archie 4 and Lilibet 2, reports Page Six.The Duchess then continued her celebrations by joining friends at San Ysidro Ranch hotel in Santa Barbara.

And according to reports, the former Suits actress posed for pictures and made videos with a hen party who were celebrating at the hotel.Meghan also enjoyed some birthday celebrations with Prince Harry as the pair popped out for a romantic meal at the celebrity hotspot Tre Lune in Montecito.Whilst the celebrations were in full swing, Meghan reportedly donned a black and white maxi dress, estimated to have cost around £188, whilst Harry donned a pale blue button-up and white trousers.
