Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly asked for "significant edits" to their upcoming Netflix show which could see the entire project "shelved indefinitely".

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been filming the docuseries for over a year now, but are reportedly "at odds" with production ahead of its release.

The couple, who relocated to California after stepping down as senior royals in 2020, have been working on the project as part of their $100 million deal with the streaming giant, writes the Mirror. The docuseries was expected to air in December, but sources have claimed the pair are looking to tone down their remarks made about King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla following the Queen's death.

An insider told Page Six: "Harry and Meghan are panicked about trying to tone down even the most basic language. But it’s their story, from their own mouths."Another source told the publication: "They’ve made significant requests to walk back content they themselves have provided — to the extent that some Netflix staff believe, if granted, it will effectively shelve the project indefinitely."However, the source insisted filmmakers are trying to keep the content in the project and push forward with their production.
