Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are 'thriving' since leaving royal family

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are said to be stronger than ever, since leaving their royal roles last year. According to author and journalist Omid Scobie, the couple are "thriving" since stepping back from the royal family and making the move to the US.

Omid co-wrote the new unauthorised biography Finding Freedom on the couple, who share young son Archie, which was released on Tuesday.

Speaking on Lorraine on Tuesday morning, he was quick to deny claims he spoke directly to the couple. As host Andi Peters asked how they were since leaving the royal institution and the UK, he claimed they were "thriving" and taking on their new lives and projects.
