Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have said they believe they would have been heavily criticised if they had made a similar photo editing mistake to the one Kate Middleton was accused of this week.
The Princess of Wales spoke out after it emerged an image she released of her and her children had been edited prior to its release to coincide with Mother's Day.According to well placed sources, reports the Express, the Sussexes believed it wasn't "a mistake Meghan would ever make".
They added: "If Harry and Meghan had ever encountered the same issue they would have been annihilated. The same rules do not apply to both couples." Following claims that the newly-released photograph of Kate with Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte had been manipulated, many leading photographic news agencies sent out a "kill" notice over the image.
Speaking of Meghan, the source added to Page Six that she would not commit the same mistake as she has "a keen eye and freakish attention to detail".Since the photo's release on Sunday, many errors have been noted - including part of Princess Charlotte's wrist being removed.
