He's more of a natural than I'll ever be," Ryan said during a recent interview with Glamour. "That nepo stuff is so dismissive of his work ethic, his gifts, and how sensitive he is to the idea of his privilege." Ryan’s statements are the latest take regarding Hollywood’s trending "nepo baby" label, the short, dismissive term for Hollywood celebrities supposedly benefitting from nepotism, as opposed to those scraping for their big break in the industry.
Other famous people, including actress Zoe Kravitz (Grammy Award winner Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet), actress Maya Hawke (daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman), and actress Margaret Qualley (daughter of Andie MacDowell), have been accused of being "nepo babies" as well.
The "Sleepless In Seattle" star continued, mentioning how her son has been into acting from a young age and displayed natural talent. "I remember seeing him in a middle school production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
