A thug carrying a meat cleaver terrorised and robbed a garage attendant after a row over a soft drink.Stewart Currie turned violent when the female employee refused to exchange his purchase for a cola.Hamilton Sheriff Court heard he forced entry to the garage, made the 46-year-old open a till and fled with £437.Currie, 24, admitted assault and robbery at the Jet garage in Hamilton Road, Motherwell, on December 2 last year.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
