MC Skibadee, the hit Jungle and Drum'n'Bass MC, has sadly died at the age of 54. The musician's real name was Alfonso Bondzie and he became a huge hit in the '90s, and a true icon on the scene.
The star's family announced the sad news of his death on social media, as one of his children was tasked with letting his fans know. "Hello everyone," they began. "As Alphonso's first born I unfortunately come with some sad news to say that Skibadee has passed away. "As a family we ask for some privacy but may he rest in peace." MC Skibadee first began his career playing on City Sound Radio back in 1993. When his career took off, the star became known for providing some of the freshest hip hop beats and was one of the first to combine Drum'n'Bass with the music style.
He also was a pioneer in the industry who created a double-time effect in the late '90s. In more recent years, the star was a member of the band SASASAS.
