Maya Jama’s balcony singing hits a bum note as she tries to riff on Italy during coronavirus outbreak

metro.co.ukMaya Jama is making the most of her time indoors as the coronavirus outbreak continues. Following videos from Italy of people in self-isolation on blocks of flats singing to each other to pass the time, the TV presenter had a go herself.
Unfortunately her vocals didn’t seem to go down well with someone living in one of the blocks opposite. In a brilliant clip shared to Twitter, Maya is seen wrapped up in a fluffy coat and brandishing a large glass of red wine as she belts out I Still Believe by Brenda K Starr.
The presenter joked: ‘Tried to lighten the quarantine mood n have a sing song but the neighbours aren’t on it.’ She puts her all into the performance, even if the lyrics ended up getting a bit scrambled part way through.
