Max George has clapped back at a review of girlfriend Maisie Smith in her new show. The former EastEnders actress is starring opposite former Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin Clifton in a new musical adaptation of Strictly Ballroom.
Maisie, who competed in the BBC One dance show in 2020 alongside now-boyfriend Max, has taken on the role of enthusiastic beginner Fran while Kevin plays the role of hero Scott Hastings in the reimaging of Baz Luhrmann's award-winning global film phenomenon.
The nationwide tour, which is being directed by Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood, kickstarted in Plymouth last month before moving on to the Bromley Church Theatre where a press night was held on Wednesday night (October 5). Taking to Instagram, Maisie shared several photos of herself on stage showing off her incredible dancing skills alongside Kevin.
