The 31-year-old singer - who was a member of chart topping boyband The Wanted between 2009 and 2014 - was performing in his native Manchester on Friday when the night took a dramatic turn.
The Glad You Came star was hosting a performance for a handful of fans at the 4 star Abode hotel as the weekend kicked off - with 40-year-old girlfriend Stacy in tow.
But the night went from bad to worse for the couple when they were abused by a thug at the performance venue - and then discovered their hotel room had been ransacked, according to The Sun on Sunday.
