She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

They acted together in the US legal drama Suits. Bit actor Max Beesley refused to answer questions about his co-star Meghan Markle during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.

Appearing on the show to promote his new show Hijack, in which he stars alongside Idris Elba, Max was asked by hosts Ed Balls and Susanna Reid about the Duchess of Sussex.

Pointing out that he hadn't had much experience working with her, as he had only appeared in a few episodes of Suits, he described her as a "great actress" before awkwardly refusing to discuss her further.

However, following talk of his latest on-screen venture, former MP turned TV personality Ed asked: "One more chance... Meghan Markle?" Dodging this question, Max instead gestured at the table in front of them, which was covered in newspapers, exclaiming: "What a lovely array of newspapers you've got here!" Viewers at home were rather critical of the presenting duo's decision to ask Max about Meghan, with one tweeting: "Really?
