Maureen Lipman has opened up about the death of her husband and why she felt she didn't grieve enough at the time. The 74-year-old Coronation Street star has said she found it "impossible to grieve" following the death of her husband Jack Rosenthal 16 years ago, because it is in her nature to try to make people laugh.
The actress, who plays Evelyn Plummer in Corrie, discussed the death of Jack in an interview with magazine Prima. Recalling the days after he died, Maureen said: "I found it almost impossible to grieve because my nature is to make people laugh.
