Maura Higgins has opened up about 'not wanting to be here anymore' after being catapulted into the public eye five years ago.
The former ring girl, 33, from Ireland rose to fame after appearing on Love Island back in 2019 when she entered the villa as a bombshell.
Despite not winning the ITV dating show, which featured fellow stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, Maura soared to fame with 'everyone wanted to work with her.' However, her new-found popularity meant she had to move from her home in Ireland to the UK to pursue work opportunities.
The reality TV star told Married At First's Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk show: "It was very hard. I was dropped to the UK, in the public eye, had nowhere to live, no friends, no family, no-one I could trust."
