Maura Higgins fans thought she was finally on her way to Australia to join this year's I'm a Celebrity line-up tonight (Thursday, November 14).

Rumours have been mounting that the former Love Island star, 33, could be heading Down Under to take on bushtucker trails with witchetty grubs, although nothing has yet been confirmed.

While the first group of jungle celebs was announced earlier this week by ITV, with the likes of Coleen Rooney and McFly's Danny Jones now already in Australia, Maura's name hasn't been officially released.Tonight, after Maura got tongues wagging by sharing a photograph of a plane, fans thought she was finally on her way.

However, a short time later, Stacey Solomon posted a photo of herself with a group - which includes This Morning skincare expert Caroline Hirons - on a plane to Las Vegas, and fans were quick to express their shock that Maura appeared to be with them.
