Earlier this week, “House Of The Dragon” star Milly Alcock landed the role of Supergirl in James Gunn and Peter Safran‘s new and improved DCU reboot.

And the actress will star in a standalone film based around the superhero, which …still lacks a director? Strange stuff for the rebooted franchise to do according to “Argylle” director Matthew Vaughn, who’s a fan of Alcock’s but not of Gunn and Safran casting her so early into a film’s development.
