Actor Matthew Perry, who shot to fame in the 90s when he starred as Chandler Bing in Friends, has passed away at the age of 54, and fans have now revealed his wish for after his death.
Matthew, who suffered from drug and alcohol addiction throughout his life, had in recent years turned his former Malibu beach home into a men's sober living facility called Perry House.
He had also advocated for non-violent people suffering from addiction to be given help, rather than facing incarceration. And it was these things that Matthew hoped to be remembered for after his death.
Speaking to podcaster Tom Power in 2022, one year before his tragic death, Matthew said: "I've had a lot of ups and downs in my life but t he best thing about me, bar none, is that if an acoholic or drug addict comes up to me and says, 'will you help me?' I will aways say 'yes, I know how to do that. "'I will do that for you, even if I can't always do it for myself.' So I do that, whenever I can.
