Matteo Lane Joins Hulu’s Stand-Up Roster

deadline.comHulu is continuing its push into stand-up comedy with Matteo Lane becoming the latest funnyman to launch a special on the streamer.
Lane will film his next special on October 24 at at Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica and it will air later on the platform.
He joins the likes of Jim Gaffigan, Bill Burr, Ilana Glazer, Roy Wood Jr., Atsuko Okatsuka, Jessica Kirson, and Chris Distefano as part of the company’s “Hularious” comedy brand.
Lane said, “I am thrilled to be part of the Disney Hulu family. This is the closest I’ll get to becoming the 5th Golden Girl.” Lane has made his name with viral clips from his stand-up shows online including Hair Plugs & Heartache and The Advice Special recording millions of views.
