The Frenchman was then benched for the following game, a 2-0 win away to Southampton, although Arteta claims the decision was unrelated.
Either way, the France U21 international feels he does not have the backing of manager Arteta and told club bosses he is open to leaving in the summer.According to French outlet L’Equipe, the relationship between player and coach has been strained for sometime and the latest incident is seen as the straw which broke the camel's back.
