She lost her father and I lost my mum so there’s a good synergy in the fact we have both had big losses. She’s just a good person.”Chantal, who was married to EastEnders’ Paul Nicholls until 2015, is now a jeweller but was a sought-after model, famously stripping down for a Rustlers advert.After the death of his mum Carol in 2014 to breast cancer, Matt became almost a recluse.
But with help from Chantal, he has pulled himself out of the darkness and at the end of last year appeared on Strictly Come Dancing.Now the singer is ready to show the UK what a decade of performing to thousands and becoming known as the King of Las Vegas is all about.
Matt will head with a massive show which includes his big band and the Royal Philharmonic Concert orchestra to Edinburgh, Perth and Glasgow.He said: “The one thing I love about the Scots is they really know how to have a good time.
