express.co.ukDuchess of Cambridge via a social media post after seeing her rendition of children's book The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark on CBeebies Bedtime Stories.Though we might know Matt best these days for The One Show, Countryfile and, of course, Our Farm In The Dales, he first rose to fame presenting children's TV shows.The 44-year-old TV star had a seven year stint on Blue Peter earlier in his career, before leaving in 2006.His history left him well-placed to judge the performance of the duchess when she read out the much-loved kids' story - and his response left onlookers in no doubt that he was impressed."Welcome to the Childrens BBC Presenters Club!" he wrote, punctuating his feelings with a love-heart emoji.The Duchess is yet to respond to the comment publicly.However, the official CBeebies Instagram account replied with playful laughing emojis, while other fans shared in their approval of Matt.One joked: "I used to watch you a lot when I was an aupair.
I think I've learnt the most of my English from CBeebies."After reading out the story about how the courageous little owl conquered his fears, Kate added a personal message of her own."Wow, what an encouraging tale!" she praised."We can all feel scared sometimes, just like our little owl friend, Plop," she continued."But, as Mrs Barn Owl said, it’s better to find out about the things that scare us before we make up our mind."And with the help of others, we can often face things that worry us."Now it's time for bed.
