Manchester City are dealing with a number of injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s showdown trip to Liverpool. Fortunately for the Blues, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne are both long recovered from their setbacks, with the latter rested during Wednesday’s 3-1 Champions League win over FC Copenhagen.
However, the night produced two more injury worries, one of which came prior to kick-off. Liverpool have a number of setbacks of their own with Mohamed Salah not yet back from his hamstring troubles and Alisson out for the foreseeable future.
Jurgen Klopp’s injury list may still be in double figures by the weekend, although Salah has returned to training this week. Doku is nursing a discomfort picked up during Sunday’s 3-1 win over Manchester United and consequently missed the midweek triumph over Copenhagen.
