At first, workers thought there were only nine rotted bodies when they unearthed them on Friday.But when they further explored the gruesome grave they found 11 more, according to reports, all of which were stacked on top of each other.The team expected to find artefacts like buttons or jewellery, but only spotted old nails among the remains – pointing to the idea that this may have been a mass murder.It also raised suspicion that the bones were found outside the 14th century castle, which was once plagued by hardship.In 1567, the surrounding was overrun by the Spanish Army - and a century later, the castle was partially destroyed by fireworks and never rebuilt.The only surviving parts of the castle is a decorative gate,.
