The former Chelsea man has suffered a number of injuries since making the switch from Stamford Bridge at the start of last season.
As a result, Mount has made just 32 appearances for United across all competitions with a lot of those coming off the substitute bench.
Mount's latest injury was suffered during the victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last month. With the ball in play, the midfielder dropped to the deck having clearly suffered a muscular injury to his thigh.
