Mason Greenwood has praised Jadon Sancho after Chelsea beat Brighton 4-2 on Saturday. Sancho provided a smart assist for Cole Palmer and Chelsea’s fourth goal of the afternoon - adding to his two previous assists against Bournemouth and West Ham United in recent weeks.
After the fixture Sancho took to Instagram to mark the occasion, posting several photographs from the match action with the caption: "Special afternoon to make my first appearance at the bridge [the letter A emoji]! +3.", reports Football London.
He added: "No words needed." Mason Greenwood, now of French side Marseille, also praised Sancho by simply posting a clapping emoji. Greenwood was suspended by United in January 2022 amid allegations of attempted rape, assault, and controlling and coercive behaviour.
