A 'masked man' was seen running from a pharmacy after an attempted robbery in Grangemouth this afternoon.Officers were alerted to the incident at around 4.35pm on February 6 at theRowlands Pharmacy on Charlotte Dundas Court in the town.Nothing was stolen during the incident and police have now launched a probe to find those responsible.Speaking to the Record, a bystander said: “I was standing having a cigarette at my window and saw the guy running out of the chemist - they had a balaclava type thing over their head and it covered their face.“They ran off and then minutes later loads of police arrived and went running into the chemist.
They they put all the tape up and have been here since.”A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of an attempted robbery at a business on Charlotte Dundas Court in Grangemouth shortly after 4.35pm on Monday, 6 February.“Nothing was stolen and no one was injured.“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”Rowlands Pharmacy has been approached for comment.
