Masked knifeman threatens terrified Spar shop staff for cash
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA masked knifeman threatened staff inside a Spar shop for cash in Bolton. The terrifying incident happened at the shop on Black Horse Street in the Blackrod area at around 9.30am yesterday morning (Wednesday).
The man burst into the shop armed with a knife, police said. He demanded money from the staff inside. No injuries were reported and nothing was taken. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a cordon in place around the shop after the incident yesterday. Officers now want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, was in the area at the time, or who has any information about what happened.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 9:30am this morning (26 July 2023) officers were called to reports of a robbery on Black Horse Street in Blackrod, Bolton.
