It was a proud day for TV star and retail expert Mary, 63, earlier this month as she attended her investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle and was awarded an OBE for services to retail and broadcasting by Princess Anne.
But despite being a firm fixture on TV for years including her series Mary Queen of Shops, she might not have been recognisable to those watching the ceremony as she has shrugged off her familiar hair colour that she became known for after her broadcasting career began in 2007.
Mary had sported a vibrant, sharp-cut red bob for many years, alternating between shades from ginger to a deep red. As she collected her OBE last week, Mary was chic with a completely different, softer look that embraced her naturally silver hair.
