Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige once considered leaving for the DC Extended Universe

Kevin Feige has long been recognized as the architect of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's unprecedented box office run... though it seems he once considered leaving the studio.The 49-year-old Feige started his career as an assistant to producer Lauren Shuler Donner and got his first producing credit on 2000's X-Men, before quickly rising through the ranks at Marvel and being named president of Marvel Studios in 2007.While he lead the studio to massive success, at one point during the studio's Phase 2 slate he had entertained offers to join DC, according to a report from Puck News.

though it seems he once considered leaving the studioThe report claimed that new Warner Bros./Discovery CEO David Zaslav might make 'another run' at luring Feige over to DC.The report added that Feige, 'talked pretty seriously with Warners a few years ago when he was angling to escape the oversight of Marvel’s then-madman C.E.O.

Ike Perlmutter. When Disney purchased Marvel Entertainment in 2009, Perlmutter remained as CEO, and there were numerous reports that Feige and Perlmutter often clashed.
