Marvel and Disney have finally found their Wonder Man, tapping Yahya Abdul-Mateen II for their new Wonder Man series on Disney Plus.Abdul-Mateen II, 36, is set to play Simon Williams, the son of a wealthy industrialist who ultimately transforms himself into Wonder Man, via Screen Geek.The role will be the third comic book character Abdul-Mateen II has tackled, following his portrayal of Black Manta in 2018's Aquaman and Dr.

Manhattan in the 2019 HBO series Watchmen, which he won an Emmy Award for.
