However, he had to fight for the role, and he competed with some very big stars to get cast. After making his debut in 2011′s Thor, the 40-year-old actor played the iconic hero in multiple movies over the years.
His most recent movie in the franchise was 2022′s Thor: Love and Thunder. While he quite simply is Thor now, he had to beat out 10 other actors to land the role.
The list includes some people who he is very close to. Interestingly, one of Chris‘ competitors wound up making his own MCU debut alongside him in Thor.
