Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige teased big plans for the future of two of the most iconic superhero troupes – the X-Men and the Fantastic Four.
Fans of the franchise are very familiar with both groups. However, up to now, they have played a limited role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This summer, Wolverine – a beloved member of the X-Men played by Hugh Jackman – officially joined the MCU with a starring role in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Next year, the Fantastic Four leaps into action with their own standalone movie called The Fantastic Four: First Steps. While attending the Disney APAC Content Showcase, Kevin hinted at bigger plans for both groups moving forward.
