Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler sparked a debate over the current standard of goalkeeping in the Premier League after Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson blundered twice against Manchester United on Sunday.
The £35m stopper has been hailed as one of the best in the business since arriving from Benfica in June 2017. Usually supremely accomplished with the ball at his feet, Ederson almost allowed Anthony Martial to score his second goal of the game when the ball trickled under his foot.
He recovered to clear the ball off the line but had earlier allowed the United attacker's weak volley through his grasp to give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side the lead.
