The Martin Lewis Money Show returned to our screens and expert Martin Lewis claimed "7 million are out of contract" and that they can get broadband for half the price with speeds that are "two times faster".
The money-saving expert claims the "benchmark deals" people should be aiming for are as low as £18.99 and these can be found on comparison websites which should be checked annually.
Mr Lewis also said people can use a simple hack to get a better phone deal - by speaking to customer disconnections who will offer you a better deal than advertised in a bid to keep you as a customer.
It comes as the personal finance guru said that by using the Groupon website, film fanatics can get over a third off on tickets at Vue cinemas.
