Martin Lewis has issued a 'quick tip' to save money for anyone with a Ring Doorbell after it was announced the price of a basic subscription plan was to rise by 43pc.

Customers subscribed to Ring's Protect Basic Plan have begun receiving emails informing them that the subscription will increase from £34.99 a year to £49.99 a year.

For those that pay monthly, it means their payments will go up from £3.49 a month to £4.99. The new price change will be implemented from March 11, 2024 with Amazon, which owns Ring, saying the change was being made 'to enhance the plan and give customers more value'.
