ok.co.ukMartin and Shirlie Kemp have opened up about their children's love lives, revealing why they may not attend their famous son Roman's wedding.The pair, who have been married for over 30s have also shared what advice they've given to Roman, 31, and their daughter Harley Moon, 34.The parents of two have shared that they would love to attend their children's weddings, but that in Roman's case, it may not happen as they hope, with the radio presenter potentially opting to follow in his parents' footsteps with a small private ceremony instead.
Martin and Shirlie tied the knot in 1988 in a private ceremony, with no guests, In St Lucia. Speaking to Hello!, Shirlie said: "I'm not bothered that they're not married or have children.
I think the world is a scary place. But if my kids get married, I want to be there." To which Martin quipped: "I can tell you, you won't be.
Roman will do exactly the same thing [as us]. Everything he does, he's looked at, so he'll want to go away. And we can't be heartbroken because we'll have no right to be." Shirlie, who appeared on The Masked Singer UK last year as ‘Cat and Mouse’ alongside her husband, also shared the advice she has given her children when it comes to romantic relationships.
