While Married at First Sight focusses on setting up relationships at the altar, Channel 4 are planning to turn it into a racy series to compete with ITV’s Love Island, which has always been a hit with younger viewers.The show may already be explosive with millions of viewers tuning in, but bosses want to turn up the heat even more by transforming the TV show into a more “sex-ed up” version.

Channel 4 bosses are said to move the programme from Channel 4 to E4 as they plan to reinvent it into a raunchy version. “Married At First Sight UK started out as much more of a straight TV experiment looking at relationships,” a source shared.
