Married At First Sight fury as viewers make official complaints to Ofcom amid 'gaslighting' rows

Married At First Sight UK has been hit with a slew of Ofcom complaints regarding the behaviour of one of its stars.The E4 reality show is into its seventh week, with the remaining couples preparing to decide whether to stay with their spouse after meeting them at the altar.

However, the popular show is under fire after Ofcom revealing that it had received a number of complaints last week about star Alex Henry.The TV regulation body revealed that it received 53 complaints from the public between Tuesday 29 October and Monday 4 November regarding "alleged gaslighting behaviour by Alex".

The series hasn't been drama-free for Alex and his bride Holly Ditchfield, whose explosive arguments have left fans unimpressed.

In an episode that aired last month, Holly attempted to explain to Alex that she was upset after he spent one of the dinner parties with new arrival Amy Kenyon.
