Married at First Sight couple split as star says she’s ‘utterly heartbroken’ in emotional statement

MAFS stars Tasha Jay and Paul Liba have shockingly called it quits, with Tasha sharing an emotional statement on social media.Tasha confirmed the break-up as she wrote: "It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing Paul and I have decided to part ways.There isn't any major reason, we have just come to terms with the fact that we are not right for each other. "Paul is the loveliest guy I've ever met and I'm grateful for the time we've shared together and I'm glad that we can remain friends.

I'm utterly heartbroken that I'm having to write this post, but it is best for both of us." She added: "Thank you to everyone who has supported us as a couple.

I hope you can now support us on our individual journeys." Paul released the same statement on his own social media. Tasha and Paul first met at the altar last year on Married at First Sight UK and made it all the way to the end of the experiment.

And just a couple of months ago, the pair caught up with OK! where they stated their marriage was 'stronger than ever'. On the red carpet for BAFTA in May, Tasha said they were "Stronger than ever.
