Mark Wright's parents fighting coronavirus but mum Carol vows to beat the bug

Mark Wright's parents have shared they are battling coronavirus after he revealed his closest friends and family have the bug.

Carol Wright took to her Instagram account on New Year's Eve to share the worrying news, saying they caught Covid-19 over the Christmas period.

Posting a picture of herself and Mark's dad, Mark Senior, on a hammock on holiday in happier times, Carol shed some light on her gruelling symptoms and revealed that her husband is struggling.

She said she is suffering the "worst coughing fits ever" but she vowed they would both beat the virus. The ex TOWIE star, 61, wrote: "Well what a year this has been.
